Hello everyone! We’ve got some exciting free events for kids and youth happening today and we’d love to see you there.
Today’s events:
4pm: Kids’ story session, Ross King Memorial Library, hosted by Kevin Noseworthy.
7pm: Readings by Youth Writers, Ross King Memorial Library.
And if you can’t take part in those – or even if you can – we’d love it if you’d take part in one of today’s photo or writing challenges!
Photo Challenge: Take a picture inspired by the word “catch”.
Writing Challenge: Write a few paragraphs from the point of view of a character with a name that causes them trouble (like Johnny Cash’s “A Boy Named Sue”).
You can post your results in the comments, and you can use a pseudonym if you’d like. And remember, this is just for fun, practice, and to get your creativity going, so don’t worry about it too much!
