Writers, Songwriters and Visual Artists are having meetings at City Hall this evening (separate meetings for each) from 7:30-9:30. If you create in one of these disciplines, please come meet your peers and talk about your work.
Today’s Challenges:
Over halfway now, guys, with Day Five of ARTFUSiON! Hope you’re having as much fun as we are with the events! And the daily challenges continue, with today’s theme of imitation – the highest form of flattery!
The Writing challenge for the day is to try to imitate the style of writing of one of your favorite authors, or alternatively re-write an existing scene in your own style.
The Musical challenge for the day is to play a song in the style of someone you admire (any song, not just one you wrote!). Or just learn one of their songs and replicate it!
The Visual art challenge for the day is to try to re-create the work of an artist you admire. (Tackle painting the Mona Lisa, for example!)
