Today is Day One of our ARTFUSiON arts week! And we’re kicking off the week with our annual festival in Centennial Park, which you should come and see if you can, we hope to see lots of people down to check it out!
And since it is day one of Artfusion, it is also day one of our Artfusion Challenges! Today’s theme is Back to the Basics – we’re starting off slow.
The Writing challenge today is to write a simple set of rhyming phrases – something silly works nicely! (Or, just change the words of a poem or song so that they are silly!)
The Musical challenge today is to take an easy song (Twinkle Twinkle, Happy Birthday, etc.) and perform it in front of someone. (No laughing!)
The Visual Art challenge today is to put aside your fancy paintbrushes and cameras and everything, and pick up some crayons or markers (or just a pencil, if you haven’t got any), and create a masterpiece worthy of your parents’ refrigerator!
